How to make roasted sunflower seed?

To make a more tasty roasted sunflower seed recipe, our tip is to make the most of the spices used – such as paprika, salt, pepper and even curry. Thus, you make the dish more nutritious, slightly thermogenic and even more appetizing.

Ingredients

– ½ cup of shelled sunflower seed

-1 dessert spoon (shallow) of paprika

– ½ teaspoon of curry powder

– 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

– Salt and olive oil to taste

First of all, you should wash the peeled sunflower seeds and leave them in a colander. In a frying pan, add a little oil and then add the seeds. Let toast over low heat for about 7 minutes and then add the paprika, curry and salt to taste. Mix some more, add the lemon juice and leave on the fire for another 3 minutes, without stopping stirring. When the seeds are well roasted, just turn off the heat and serve them the way you prefer.

Use the seeds to season salads, yogurts, breads and cakes

After preparing the roasted sunflower seeds, you can use them to spice up different dishes – such as salads, yogurts, smoothies, sauces and even recipes for breads, cakes, cookies and other homemade pasta. As the recipe we recommend is well seasoned, another interesting suggestion is to serve the sunflower seeds as appetizers, along with a mix of nuts (composed of different oilseeds). It is delicious and very healthy!

Source of good fats (omega 6 and 9), antioxidants and important vitamins, sunflower seed is considered a great ally for brain and heart health. In addition, it is rich in protein, fiber, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and selenium. Therefore, when consumed in the long term, it guarantees more satiety (being indicated for those who need to lose weight) and is great for the health of bones, muscles and to improve immunity.
