How to Germinate Leptosiphon Androsaceus Seeds
Start them off Autumn if in the uk or europe
Prepare a pot or plant cells with a Good draining seed compost and stand your pot or cells in the water.
Once the soil is damp to the touch on the top you know your soil is wet enough to sow.
Sprinkle the seeds finley across the compost spacing them out, push them into the soil .
Cover the seeds with a fine layer of vermiculite or grit.
Now you need to create a humid atmosphere with clingfilm,
if using a pot just pull the Clingfilm tight over the top .
Within a few hours you should see condensation
if you dont the clingfilm isnt tight enough or air is getting in.
With cells you do the same thing but will need to cover the seeds and the base and the sides to create the humid enviroment.
The pot should self water if the cling film is tight enough if it looks dry stand your post or cells in water and let it soak from the base.
When big enough seperate the seedlings out into pots or cells.
Over winter the seedlings frost safe inside or a green house.
plant out int he spring when the last frost has finished.
