How to Germinate Allium Fistulosum from Seed!
You can grow these salad onions straight into the ground or into a container.
Some people even use windowsill boxes.
Start by using a good quality compost.
loosen the soil making sure there are no hard clumps in it.
After making sure the compost is wet make 1cm deep holes in the compost
Cover the seeds with compost.
Plant the seeds in rows and make the rows 10cm apart.
As the seeds germinate and grow pull out ny over crowding weaker seedlings.
1n approx 2.5-3 months you can harvest your onions.
